Very thoroughly studied, written and presented. The author definitely studied this topic in extreme depth. I went into this book skeptical. I was a believer in Rome (revived Europe) being the Antichrist's empire and wasn't sure if I bought the Islamic Antichrist theory. After reading this book, I'm persuaded that the Islamic Antichrist theory is correct. Throughout the book I found myself saying "wait, what about the verse..." or "wait, what about the fact that...", and every time the author had a section in the book to address and respond to my concerns. The author lays out his theory detail by detail and offers convincing arguments as to why the Antichrist must be Islamic and cannot be Roman/European. In fact, I'd have to say that this book is one of the most detailed and thoroughly researched book on end time prophecies that I have ever read. I plan to use it now as a reference in my continued study. If you're at all curious about how Islam might fit into end time events, this is a great read for all.
Joel Richardson is the person who first proposed, in wide-spread format, what I'd concluded several years before I heard of him... the idea that Islam, in fact, fit every Biblical defining aspect of the prophesied "Antichrist Religion."His first mainstream published work, which was initially released under a different title, and which received several updates and expansion for the later release... is called "The Islamic Antichrist." In this book, he goes into great detail explaining how he came to this conclusions, and convincing others of the reasons to accept this interpretation of prophecy... and to expect it to become more clear as time goes on (as it has).Here is the current "Audible" audiobook version, which is the version I recommend to anyone truly interested. The result is THIS book... which is a companion book to "The Islamic Antichrist" but which focuses, instead, on convincing CHRISTIANS, using almost exclusively Christian resources. It also provides a wonderful lesson for those who are, themselves, Christians already, and who may well believe his argument, but need further evidence to be presented in order to fully make the case for their own beliefs.By reading the first book first, and this book second, the case is fully made, from any potential perspective, of why Richardson believes as he does (and I agree with him, for the record). But note, this book is not really intended to be a "stand-alone" work. Rather, it is like an vastly expanded appendix to the earlier work. I do not recommend anyone but Biblical scholars who are convinced of the "European Antichrist" interpretation, and who disagree with Richardson's interpretation, to read this without reading the first work. In fact, I would not recommend them to do so either, but they will at least find some value in the work as read by itself, while non-believers in Christianity, or less scripturally-educated laypeople of any Christian subsect, will find less value in this book by itself.Richardson has two further major works which are complementary to "The Islamic Antichrist" as well, but which are fully stand-alone works... Islam declares that Jesus was never crucified, but rather used magic to trick the Romans into crucifying Judas in his place!)Richardson makes very clear that this position is not only not supported by scripture, but in fact is in direct contradiction to all biblical prophetic scripture. The author has done a lot of research on this and while it is going to go against the traditional interpretations of many, there is much to think about here. I was schooled in the position that a Roman or European Antichrist would come to the forefront in the end of days, but I am now convinced that a revised Islamic Caliphate might be more likely to be the foundation for this. This book has revealed that Richardson has considered this as well and it truly does help flesh out many possibilities that previously might not have been considered. It certainly is a challenge for some theologians to consider given the human potential for invincible ignorance and prejudice for a comfortable stand because of what grandfather or father believed.History being written now is moving so very fast toward the possible reconstructed world order of an Islamic Caliphate in the Middle East that no one really knows for sure what is happening. With 1.6 BILLION Muslims in the world now there might be considerable force behind a reconstituted system even though right now it appears that they are not all on the same page, it might not take all that much to bring them into alignment for a Caliph to come to the front and begin to bring this into being.Anyone at least interested in what might form to bring The Antichrist to power should buy and read this work carefully. Richardson may not have it all correct but there is no doubt that he has done some serious thinking and research on this book and he has put forward some very compelling evidence that might prove right in the end.A warning to Christians to not be complacent and willingly ignorant of things to come. The Day of the Lord might very well happen in this generation. This is not something that should be taken lightly but most have become very comfortable with their traditions, and most are not ready to let facts get in the way of traditions. A change of mindset might be required for those seeking some sort of answer for the chaos now being revealed. This book might provide a few answers to those seeking some answers.
